We are all leaders. We have to manage ourselves and our lives, work, family, time and more. Sometimes it seems that we are spinning in circles and not getting anywhere.
To gain more control is to first recognize that you are the responsible one for your life, your actions and ultimately the results. That appears obvious to most of us, but not always.
When things go wrong or when there are mishaps or faulty steps, who do you blame? Often, we blame what happens to us on others, the weather, our families, our upbringing and history, our genes, etc.
I know that other factors contribute, but don't be so quick to let yourself off the hook. We have a personal responsiblity to take charge and be accountable for what happens to us without accusing or blaming other people or events.
When we do and when we're more connected to our beliefs, our goals and values, life feels better and flows better. That's when life has more meaning. And when all goes well and life seems to work magically, you can take all the credit!
